Tim Swenson
About Me
Tim Swenson is a Designer and Technician for Theatrical Entertainment, graduating from University at Buffalo’s Department of Theatre and Dance in Spring 2021.
Tim joined theatre and the entertainment industry quite by accident as part of grabbing electives sophomore year in undergrad, and he rapidly fell in love with the hands-on nature of technical work, and the wonderful knowledge that every time he goes to work he’ll be solving new problems and making new art.
Tim’s passion for the work and love for a challenge has let him succeed in the adverse conditions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and the incredibly short design and production cycles- less than a month for each section- during Home and Away, University at Buffalo’s first film focused, no audience dance production.
Tim sincerely believes in the power of collaborative storytelling, and tries to surround himself in such practices with writing, reading, and even playing games- be they pen and paper, card games, or board games.
